Robert Redfield has been a proponent of the 'lab leak' theory which posits the disease came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. Now Redfield says that the disease may have origins in America.

I think I heard very early on it was made in NC (chapel Hill or Ft Dietrick) and sent to "Chyna"
