Don't forget, all electric vehicles have an inside manual handle to open the front doors. Some have front and back.
Too many people don't read their owner's manuals.
Gen 2 prius have the same issue. If the 12v battery dies the rear hatch WILL NOT OPEN!! Ask me how I know. Grrrrrrrrr. Where is the 12v battery located????? In the hatch area.
I have window breakers in all my vehicles. EDC a knife will cut the seat belts. Don’t forget every car/truck with a headrest has a built in window breaker. Take out headrest - bash window with metal prongs. And remember kids don’t forget to check the oil😂
Good information to know, Buuuuuuuuttttttttttt.......when you are in a stressful situation, like driving into a lake and you might be injured, will you have the ability to remember the EDC stuff or will you even be able to use it? Yea, I know it's probably a very few vehicles each year that plunge into a situation where immediate extraction is necessary, but those young tweenies who are saving the world by purchasing an EV will not have the mindset to utilize the tools you have laid out. Heck, they will probably drown asking "where is the remote to open the door?"
IF, and big IF I ever had a Tesla…I would have a .22 actuated tool in my rig so I can break the windows if ever a fire happened

Tesla model 3 did not have them in the back. The back door can easily jam on all cars if the door is slammed too hard. Traffic accident anyone?
I think this is a shitty safety issue to have with a car. One of those things to think about and check when buying a car.
