@charliekirk11: 85% of the federal workforce works from home and only have to come in ONE DAY a month? On any given day, only 17% of the federal workforce is in a federal office building working. Many HOLD OTHER JOBS. It's one giant looting operation and US taxpayers are their mark.

There is no doubt that work can be done remotely if one thinks just about the work itself. The risk comes into play because remote access increases the points to which data breaches can occur. It is much easier from a security standpoint to have data more centralized. I fear that our technology that has opened the door for more flexibility in the work place may at the same time be our Achilles heel.
