Holy Father, our good Fren u/GodBlessAmerica58 reminded us sooner today that we can be winning as a group, but this doesn’t make us individually invulnerable to life’s woes. I pray we always keep focussed on both our group and its individual members so we honor our WWG1WGA motto. I pray Zenith feels Your bliss and recover surrounded by her loved ones.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Raphael Kalinowski.
Raphael of St. Joseph Kalinowski, OCD, religious name: Raphael of Saint Joseph, (1 September 1835 – 15 November 1907) was a Polish Discalced Carmelite friar. He was a teacher, engineer, prisoner of war, royal tutor, and priest, who founded many Carmelite convents around Poland after their suppression by the Russians. Kalinowski was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1991.

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Amen.
Mary!🤗💐
So glad to hear from you. The weather will get much colder next week, but that also is better to harmlessly prune the fruit trees. 🥶
Having a nice homemade pumpkin gratin with some lemongrass flavored roast today. The pumpkin is from the garden.😋
Wow! You always come up with some delicious sounding recipes. Yes. It is raining here again and has rained most of the night. Our temps will be dropping into the 30's F range on Wednesday night (tomorrow). It will be all downhill winter weather from then on out according to my son.
So much going on at our church. They are really into the holidays. We make up (shoe box size) gifts for the poor kids who live in Appalachia for Christmas. They will be picked up this Sunday. George and I bought for a boy and a girl and stuffed our boxes with all kinds of things including candy. Hope they love it. We even did this at our old church. Also gathered/bought food for a Thanksgiving box for those who cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal. Those boxes go out this coming week. Then this Sunday we will have our Thanksgiving meal at church. Don't know what I'm bringing because I didn't get to see the list. We will then be decorating our church for Christmas. Then the following Sunday we will be drawing names for our Secret Santa Christmas exchange. And then we will go and buy necessities for our Veterans home. We sure found an active church. God led the way. Praise the Lord.
That’s an easy recipe I got from Mum:
For the meat, I flavored it with lemon grass, salt, pepper and garlic powder for a night, vacuum sealed. It was cooked alongside the gratin.😋
On behalf of all of humanity, thank you for being such a generous person. God bless you.🙏🏻❤️💐
Thanks for the recipe. Perfect for this Thanksgiving Harvest. And with the being generous, 'this is what God wants us to do.' Share with those less fortunate. George and I love to give. It gives us a feeling of joy within our hearts. That's why churches do this to help those in need. Thanks again for the recipe.
It’s important that the cooked pumkin is properly drained, otherwise your gratin will feel like a soup. You may want to add carottes and, eventually, replace half of the cooking water with pure orange juice.
Thanks. I will write it down.
I just edited it a bit.🤓💐
Thanks for the recipe, pumpkin 🎃🎃🎃 😂
