Not likely Russia will directly strike a NATO country site, but danger is that Russia will sell weapons including hypersonic missiles to other belligerent countries that can used them against U.S. forces, and allies.

If rouge powers had hypersonic missiles, they could sink any ship, and destroy our ability to project power around the world.
