I highly recommend it, but i know for most people it's considered unthinkable to stop eating out completely. For me it's part heath issues, part control freak, and part germaphobe all mixed with 100% distrust in others. Perfect combination to swear off food outside my house till the end of time. I'm now at the stage where I'm trying to replace my grocery items, haven't bought eggs in 3 years, tomatoes in 4 years, peppers in a long time, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, herbs, all growing at home now and i pressure can and pickle to make things last as long as i can and I've learned to eat seasonally. I need a piece of land and i'll be able to replace my onions, garlic, beans, etc. and hopefully raise meat other than rabbits (which is all we can fit in a suburban backyard).
Very commendable and admirable of you. Those are good lifestyle choices we should all strive to make and or transition to. I know I'd like to get there one day but I suppose I can start small with veggies and things of the sort
