He's s a conventially trained doctor who transitioned into holistic practice and is really knowledgeable and down to earth. He talks about glandular tissue cancer(including prostate) being a global epidemic and how he believes iodine deficiency is a piece of it. I dont know if doctors including oncologists measure iodine levels but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. It's best to get iodine from your diet but there are forms out there that you can supplement with if that's a challenge. Most people dont get enough apparently. Mediterranean style diets contain higher levels of iodine and parts of the world that consume that type of diet typically have lower cancer rates like Japan. He's got a few good interviews if you wanna learn more, there's nothing really to lose. Look up his interview on YouTube with podcast host jesse chappus. Lots of good info out there on his channel in general

Look up David Brownstein on YouTube. He's a big advocate for iodine and mentions how the prostate along with other glandular organs not only benefit, but need iodine to function and stay healthy. Also, I hear high levels of vitamin D can be good but you want to take with K2 because vitamin D helps with calcium absorption I believe, and the k2 helps the calcium go to the bones/teeth instead of organs and soft tissue and blood vessels etc. 🙏
