There are multiple doctor recommendations out there depending on what you are taking it for.

Covid protocol had a certain dose schedule, but other problems will have different dosage schedules. So it varies. Hopefully a search on this site will get you some good info on protocols based on the issue you want to solve.

But there is no one single answer. It's like asking "how many ibuprofens do I need?" (For what, how bad pain, etc ;) )
