There's no way Trump didn't KNOW already about the Gaetz sexual allegation bullshit. Seems perfectly reasonable that he actually wanted Bondi all along, with Gaetz as assistant DA (no confirmation needed). So he announces Gaetz for AG to watch what happens.

Trump is not flying by the seat of his pants, being blindsided by the stuff that we are. He knows it in advance and has made plans to win regardless.
