"Maybe". From observations of a lot of conservatives at least, I believe most of them have been in the "Just leave me alone" club for a long time (multi-generational). However apparently there's some people that just can't deal with other peoples' happiness, and feel they need to constantly harass them to make them feel better about their selves - way beyond kidding someone. Apparently that will only go on so long before measures are taken.

There appears to even be a "alien/spiritual" aspect of this that might come out in time that could clarify this further.

They should have left us alone.
