Yes that's good. My point tho is that chromium browser is open source as in free GPL code, so anyone can use it for free without thr proprietary Google bits. I use chromium on Linux. Most other browsers (including edge) is built on top of chromium.
Ouch. Maybe if they chose to not listen to their evil overlords they wouldn't be in this situation. Open the doors to everyone and not just likeminded liberals. Heck, the goal of business is to sell things, not stand on a hill until it dies from lack of revenue.
Google Chrome was always shit to me. I was with firefox since it came out in 2000'sh. When chrome came out, it was mind boggling how everyone was suddenly like "ooh chrome" while i was like "naw bro, it's google, and google = bad" 10 years ago. Now some are seeing the light again.
I mainly use Librewolf and then Mullvad and Tor browser for other things. I have firefox on hand too in case i need it, but i haven't used it at all in a year.
I still lean towards Gecko/Quantum (firefox) browser engines.. instead of Blink/WebKit (chrome) ones.
The only 'chrome' one i would consider using is ungoogled chromium.. but generally i don't use it, or MS edge. I stick to what i mentioned above for privacy reasons.. but i do have some of these on hand in a safe environment that i could use to check websites i need to develop for.
Luckily chromium is already open source. This is good news
They are being forced to sell off all interest in chrome as well.

Ahh ok. I wasn’t aware of that. Thank you. I mostly use brave on my phone. That’s the last one I had heard was still ok.
I use brave too. It is built on chromium
Ahh was unaware of that too. Thanks.
Me too...love the lion
Need to break up BlackRock, they will just move the umbrella higher, well it already is I guess. They are the head of the octopus.
free youtube as well.
Right? I couldn't find YouTube on my new phone. Until I found it was in the Google suite of apps along with my photos icon I couldn't find either.
YouTube was great until Google obtained it.

Long time FF user here. I can't give it up.
Mozilla has less than a year of funding left with no reason for Google to keep paying the bills..
