My wife was off Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and we had it all planned to get everything packed clean the house we were renting and then clean the new place. Saturday to be the day to move our things via U-Haul (A friend to drive it since I don't drive anymore). Wife gets sick, acting weird the Sunday before, got sent home from work Wednesday. Slept all night and most of Thursday and Friday which Friday I had to fight with her to go to the hospital.
That Thursday I intended to get the internet set up and running since I was changing providers, I got the keys a day early at my request. Apt. has two doors that you would think were keyed alike, they weren't, and the front door had 3 locks, one that didn't have a key slot on the outside. So I go out the kitchen door with the front door locked all three. Then find out my key doesn't work on the kitchen door. I had to spend the day waiting for the owner's maint. man to change the locks tieing up most of the day. I shuttled via Uber some of our things Thursday and then Friday morning after getting up 2-3 am and packing. When I returned home from the third trip Friday Morning my wife was up.
She was so disoriented and wobbly, I realized she had more going on than just a regular sickness. I had to argue with her to get her to go to the hospital and the Uber driver is calling my phone telling me he has to go. What the heck, they charge for waiting time, he would get paid. So we get to the hospital and my wife wants to go to the employee clinic since she works there. This is a giant hospital and University. It tied up a lot of precious time, only to find out that the clinic isn't for seeing emergency patients, its basically testing and shots. So back to the Emergency room area.
They did x rays and a cat scan and observed a problem with her brain. They did a spinal tap which I left the room for since they can often make the patient scream, and I don't think I could take that. She apparently tolerated that well. Better than the temp catheter they used to get the pee sample that I was there for. They also scheduled an MRI which she didn't have until the next morning which was Saturday.
Saturday we had the driver for the U-haul as well as a couple with a truck show up, and since the weather was nice, I decided to not use the U-Haul and just move with the pickup, I'd funded the entire move except that and I wanted to save my wife that small amount. We didn't keep much furniture, it was mostly boxes and bins anyways. The U-haul driver was the husband of my wife's cousin, and couldn't do much, but she and the lady from the truck couple cleaned and also packed what I hadn't got to yet. I and the truck owner took 6-7 truckloads and unloaded at the new place. Once my wife's cousin left I had the other lady shift over to the new place to clean and put some things away, we didn't know her and her husband that well...
By dark we had hauled the last load to the new place and I paid the pickup truck couple 100 bucks each which was fair because we gave them most of our furniture and dishes. I then scooted back to the hospital and spent the night with the wife. Sunday I spent trying to arrange some of our things and going back and forth to the hospital every few hours. Monday I had to meet a plumber at the old place because the washer drain was clogged with roots, an ongoing problem. I also had to clean the windows and discovered that the fridge was also not cleaned and had to do that.
I also had a 2PM appointment with the property manager to do a walkthrough to get my deposit back. Right before he arrived my wife calls, the hospital has sent her home with 2 nurses to do home hospital. So I quickly went through the walkthrough and had to ride my bicycle to the new place, the last item to move. I arrive to discover the nurses were there with all kinds of gear, a tablet, wrist monitor, internet modem of theirs and all kinds of things. She needs IV antibiotics at 6AM, 2PM,10PM and they visit twice a day and would only be there for the 2PM antibiotic IV.
I don't see well and don't feel competent to do the hookup, and I had to work starting Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10-6, Saturday and Sunday 6-6. So I wouldn't be there in any case. The hospital had not discussed this with me at all, I'd only heard briefly about it from my wife who was disoriented with brain fog and out of balance besides. Top it off with her wanting her meds and the antibiotics even when it wasn't the right time. I told the nurses that I couldn't take care of her and they had to take her back to the Hospital which they did.
Tuesday and Wednesday I spent my time back and forth, unpacking, setting up the new internet, assembling the new bed we had, and checking on my wife in the hospital. Wednesday nite I went to work. On Thursday I found that I'd somehow lost a small bin with all my paperwork including my Birth Cert. and all the crap you get in the mail with a new CC. Thank God my Passport and the actual CC weren't there, and my wife's paperwork was ok, in a different bin. She is a Dual Citizen in the Philippines and USA and the Philippines paperwork is hard to replace. Tonight I get an unrequested Pin from one of the CC via text, so now I will have to freeze all my CC and I have a lot of them.
On Friday they moved my wife to a Nursing Home, late enough so I got only 2 hours sleep instead of the 3-4 hours a night I'd been getting since this started. I also get a call from the Condo Manager that one of our bathrooms tubs is leaking... The Nursing home they sent my wife to is a shithole. Floor is filthy and half the staff aren't nice. They also delayed her IV antibiotics a few hours while "Their Pharmacy" Sent it over. Many of the room fixtures are broken, and even the scale they weighed her on was 10 pounds off.
The Antibiotic are helping with the infection, but are causing a loss of appetite. She has had maybe 1,000 calories in the last 10 days, and I don't know if she ate much the 3-4 days before that. She is getting weaker. Saturday I helped her stand up and get to the CR (Bathroom) and she soiled herself and made a complete mess of the bathroom too. I cleaned that up, and changed her clothes taking her smelly clothes on the bus to go to work. Friday I dozed off at work a bit, and today I didn't go to the hospital until the afternoon, I had to wash her clothes and sleep.
Until today (Sat.) She was happy and excited to speak with our Granddaughter via FB messenger which is the way Filipinos communicate via video, voice, or even just text. My wife has to have the Antibiotics until this Friday, and I'm very afraid for her for lack of eating.
I'm not a target to be sued because I have no assets to go after in the USA that they can locate, so I fight hard on X in the Meme Wars, I'm post directly to many of the bad people and call them out for their treason and pedophelia. Satan isn't pleased. I haven't been online fighting much this last 10 days, I forgot some of what has happened. I'm tired, but I'll never stop fighting no matter what Satan throughs in my path.
Sorry for the novella, I guess it is therapeutic and in any case is keeping me from falling asleep at work...
God please save my wife in Jesus name.
Amen
Thanks Fren.
