Key Recommendations •ACOG endorses the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation that all eligible persons aged 6 months and older, including pregnant and lactating individuals, receive an updated 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine. •ACOG recommends that all clinicians provide strong recommendation for COVID-19 vaccination to their pregnant and lactating patients. •Vaccination may occur in any trimester, and emphasis should be on vaccine receipt as soon as possible to maximize maternal and fetal health.
