Did Bessent actually do that?

I think Soros was one of the guy's first major investors in his hedge fund. Figure when you're trying to grow your business, you'll take on all kinds of clients. Especially a whale in this space.

Whether or not that means he was doing Soros's bidding, I haven't seen. It could just be Soros wanted him to make profits for his independent plan of destroying the world.
