Not Making Headlines: China Fired Missiles Over Guam on Election Day — And It Wasn't the First Time They Fired Missiles at Ameri...
Guest post by Courtland Sykes Since September 2024, China has launched multiple intermediate-range ballistic missiles over America’s most strategic position in the Pacific – Guam.
Chinas infiltrated most of the media. Directly or indirectly controls significant shares of the Federal Government and likely has varying degrees of influence if not outright control over various State Governments. Actually their influence overlaps a lot with the Israelis. Not to mention given the presence of CCP/China backed groups on almost every college campus in the country. It’s safe to assume portions of the Officer Corps is at the very least potentially compromised.
Chinese Companies for the most part have been allowed to operate within the U.S unmolested. And have inserted themselves as features of key industries.
The Bulk of reputable Commercial Drones for instance. Are supplied by Chinese Companies. DJI as a prime example.
We’re also more online than ever.
The U.S Military is still in the middle of Force reorganization. Transitioning into new equipment and battle Doctrine. And is grappling with continuing declining recruitment numbers. A Population that’s increasingly casualty averse.
Not to mention a significant portion of the service-age population can’t even meet bare minimum standards for conscripted cannon fodder. Let alone a Professional Volunteer Force.
And a key feature of Chinese doctrine considers everything in their economy a Strategic Asset. There’s no such thing as a ‘Civilian Company’. They’ll use the data Americans gave Chinese Companies. They’ll manipulate algorithms of the Social Media Companies they control to sew discord and distrust in the civilian population of their rivals. They’ll attack via their Subsidiaries in Countries they consider rivals. Bot nets and click farms manufacture false consensus.
But many both in Government and outside, the ones who aren’t already owned by our enemies, are still treating it like an extension of the 20th century economic and political conflict. Where traditional Western mid-late 20th century notions of political and economic doctrine somehow hold all the solutions. And to look beyond them is akin to a heresy of the highest order.
Although I agree with some of what you said, for example, the weird management doctrines developed in the 20th century:
I believe that 21st C military doctrine is evolving to be casualty averse. Also, the large ships and tanks that can be seen from space, burn very well. So yeah, one had better expect that military doctrine needs to change. One can no longer rely on investing billions into ONE ship, or ONE plane-model, as a show of military might.
I know it is hard to understand how the Chinese are more oriented towards mass-population management, but you are ignoring the nose on your face - it's not just the Chinese who are doing that.
'These weren’t random missile exercises. These were deliberately aimed at U.S. territory. Oddly, no one talked about it then, and no one’s talking about it now. And that’s exactly how China wants it.'
Please peeps, let's hang on to our sanity.
One has to wonder: Why does USA have a military base closer to China than the USA? Oh, because it was a strategic point on the map, when the USA was fighting Japan in WW2. And they stayed there.
What are they doing there? Keeping an eye on the MArshall Islands and Bikini Atoll, where there are nuclear materials buried? So kind.
Also, need hroofs that the missiles actually flew over Guam - it is a small island and a rather large ocean.
