I feel that in a lot of cases the FBI is just a glove that the CIA wears for it's operations in country. there could be many in the FBI at many levels that are secretly ALSO CIA agents.
I was thinking that too.
I always love the "Well the CIA does not conduct operations on US soil" idea.
"My sweet, sweet, Summer chile......."
I was told that many times.
They run it through contractors, cut outs, or they call over to MI6 or Mossad or the Aussies or the Kiwis and get them to do it for them, so they can testify in Congress that "To my knowledge, no CIA operation was conducted here in the USA." It's technically not a lie. They like those technicalities.
