It is not that the Democrats believe themselves above the law but rather, any law that they disagree with is just below them so they should just ignore it. Way to many public examples of leaders both local and federal doing just that, and publicly mind you, in the last chunk of years. Pa, Pelosi, other congress members.. oh and there was that flight from Texas to DC when ALL the Democrats didnt want to vote on something they didnt like, during covid.. The law was NOT to be followed because, they did NOT like it... AKA, they felt the law was beneath them so they should just ignore it. Hell even Biden kept trying to find ways AROUND our Constitution to get some things done because, it wouldn't let him by law to do them...
