BS!! Turkey was no lower than 70¢ a pound on sale. Every staple item was at least double in price.

Turkey was the loss leader this year (.33/lb at Meijer.)
It was everything else that was outrageously priced.
Here in Texas it was 1.29 fresh .99 frozen. Lowest was 70 cents wth an additional purchase.
In Ohio, 70-90 cents was the norm, with one store .59 with a $25. purchase. Another store was giving a free one with a $150. purchase during the month. Meijer was the winner at .33/Lb. When we got ours, one woman had a shopping cart full of them for her "Big family."
