Thanks LW. I'm staying on a Farm this week and I actually saw a Lone Wolf walk across a field this morning. It was the 2nd time in 20 years I've seen one in these parts.

I saw a large grey wolf in the median of Hwy. 1 in British Columbia 20+ years ago. Those things are monstrous! 5-6 foot tall, I'd say. Truly majestic.

This one wasn't that big. It's possible it was a hybrid CoyWolf. The Coyotes are less afraid of breeding near humans. The DNA mix brings them closer to humans. Also, the reintroduction of Wild Turkeys gives them food source, all year round.
