This is not an either/or but a both/and. God both granted the land to Isaac and his children (in particular Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel). This applies to the Muslims who follow the Ayatollahs and Certain Imams as well. Muslims who seek the truth will find Him In Jesus The Messiah, just as the Jews who seek the truth about the Messiah will find Him In Jesus (aka Y'shua)
Even though Jesus was the hardest on the Pharisees, there was a reason for it. The Sanhedrin in His day was primarily controlled by the Sadducees, whom Jesus told "You have gone far astray!" ( He didn't even see them as real believers in God, since they denied the resurrection - Which the Pharisees believed in) His only defenders from the Sanhedrin were two Pharisees , Joseph of Aramathea and Nicodemus. (Joseph claimed His body after His death, and placed it in his own tomb (see John 3, 7, and 19, As well as Luke 23 - 24)
Later it would be a Pharisee, Gamaliel, who would prevent Peter and John from getting more than a flogging in the Sanhedrin, and another Pharisee, Paul (aka Saul of Tarsus) who would go from being a persecutor of the Way (Followers of Jesus See Acts 2- 4 and 8) to a follower of Jesus (and who still claimed to be a Pharisee after Jesus spoke to him - (Acts 23)
