One problem. They don’t need to trade with America. They trade within themselves. They can buy oil/gas from Russia. Education from Russia. Anything, including chips from China. Fruit and vegetables from Asia. Cars etc from China. The African nations (as they continue to kick out France etc.) will stabilise their countries and they have rare earth minerals, gold, silver etc. Africa will become rich in many areas and have no use of American goods. It’s a trading network. The idea was to be self sufficient and many have achieved this. BRICS nations are sick and tired of being sanctioned because they didn’t want to go to war here, or join an organisation there. I think it’s about time that America look after America. They don’t need to be going to war on a whim. They have plenty of things within America, especially education, to fix.
Perhaps that's part of the awakening ... Leading people to realize the US is not exceptional (except in education, because since grades must be like golf scores, we're the champs) and it will take a lot of hard work to reclaim that.
Actually, as a side-bar thought: If our education system sucks that bad, then how do we know that the complete failures aren't really the geniuses, and the geniuses aren't the utter failures?
