It was instantly mummified while trotting in Lahaina. Literally frozen while moving and totally intact, burned to a black sculpture in motion. Ears and tail still formed and attached. You can see each toe. They covered it with paper in this photo. What on earth could make that happen?

Thanks for this information. I saved it to my Maui folder. I remember seeing this, but it’s good to have a reminder up-to-date in the folder. Yeah good question… What would cause that. Not a fire.
