Darkness is not a thing per say but rather an absence. It can only be created by removing light. Much like cold….only created by removing heat.
All that is good (light) must be suppressed or extinguished for evil (darkness) to exist. Thus, the saying that evil will rule when good men do nothing (if they do not stand up and push back). Keep the flame of God burning AND set brushfires of liberty all around.
The a hole in an object, it cannot exist without the object itself. Evil can not exist without good, it is merely the absence of good. Cold cannot exist without heat. Etc.
