Ahh... this is the exact sentiment of claimed time traveler from 2036 John Titor on message boards in 2000 and 2001. His was a message of condemnation for a "civically ignorant" society.
Nov 21, 2000: "How can you possibly criticize me for any conflict that comes to you? I watch every day what you are doing as a society. While you sit by and watch your Constitution being torn away from you, you willfully eat poisoned food, buy manufactured products no one needs and turn an uncaring eye away from millions of people suffering and dying all around you. Is this the “Universal Law” you subscribe to?
Perhaps I should let you all in on a little secret. No one likes you in the future. This time period is looked at as being full of lazy, self-centered, civically ignorant sheep. Perhaps you should be less concerned about me and more concerned about that."
-John Titor
Logical thinking. What kind of "time traveler" lectures people about civic responsibilities? Wouldn't stories of aliens and flying cars have been more entertaining?
John Titor was a White Hat.
If you don't realize this, it's purely from lack of research or lack of critical thinking. Or both. u/#q3555
Thank you for this comment. It's difficult to condense my years of research and study into John Titor that's fit for consumption here on GAW.
Most of our friends here read a few things JT posted that don't "line up" as they would imagine (deferences on OUR timeline ) and so they discount everything he said without asking the most important question of all: WHY?
WHY would somebody troll the message boards in 2000/2001 claiming to be a "time traveler from 2036", only to post the most (seemingly) uninteresting, curt lectures on civic responsibility rather than on more interesting stuff that could be made up?
*Instead, JT took the boring, uninteresting, "less believable" route.
"Flying cars and teleportation and alien contact" would've all been far more interesting, and believable, than some guy chastising people for being lazy sheep while their children are indoctrinated and their rights are trampled.

I saw your earlier comment that was almost this comment but it didn't sink in until now even though you said it "John Titor was a White Hat".
An actual White Hat giving guidance down a path.
This Q op is so much more than I ever imagined 7 years ago.
