Huh. I had it once in 1993 before my third back surgery. I was told it's usually reserved for dire situations and if you can't take it, if you ever get a really serious infection, you could be up the creek without a paddle 🙈
It was something my daughter had on her foot. Thought ringworm. Her pediatric doctor gave her meds for that. Didn't work. It just looked like dry skin. It has been there since Aug. Last week, I took aloe from the garden... Seems to have cleared it right up. But I don't think it warrants 5000, just for someone to do an exam.
Yeah. I read they were using it so much that it caused antibiotic resistance to certain bacteria.
