College football, like NASCAR and major pro sports before it, has become the WWE. It is ENTERTAINMENT, not a contest. Things are going to get crazy in the "playoffs" because that is what brings the viewers (money). Anyone notice that expanding to 12 teams didn't fix a thing? In fact there's are now many more teams clamoring to be "in"? Money.
