Well Macron (AKA Napoleon IV) did want to stand around and look important when Europe was declaring war on Russia. France has a history with Russia like that. Mind you, it was peanuts compared with what USA ostensibly contributed.

Now that French soldiers (mercenaries) and super-duper-pooper missiles have been blown, out of the sky, or up in smoke, (while stored somewhere - follow the 'new cell signals'), the natives back in France are getting restless. Add to that the existing sh*thole cities that have apartment blocks full of migrants. (They all want to make money so Black markets, prostitution, drugs etc.)

Edit: Forgot to add the worsening energy crisis that affects all of Europe. Kind of an own goal, kind of an attack by USA. (But I thought we were friends?)

All that war-money, at least could be spent on France. But it appears only spent to make Macron look important. Meanwhile ...
