I'm not sure what you are hoping to hear here. My grandmothers and great grandmothers taught me natural remedies. My mother taught me how to educate myself and provided a library that covered a wide variety of arcane subjects including world religions, philosophies, and spirituality. I've been studying and applying herbology and natural remedies since I was 14. I don't belong to any sects or covens. I've been exposed to a few of them through my mother and others who were interested in my interest. My impression is that 99% of self proclaimed "witches" are LARPing in that they are overly impressed with shiny objects and gothic romances. I respectfully live in God's world and see the greatness and connectedness of creation in all things - which, if you know the history of the witch trials, was a hallmark of blasphemy for some weird reason.
Unfortunately, those with the knowledge of botanical meds were slain as witches by a certain religious sect over the last 2,000 years.
not all of us ;)
Witch or sect? And if the latter, which sect?...No pun intended, of course.
