I do all natural. I make my own meds from plants. Way better than the Pharma poisons. I got my Husband off his 25 pills a day and he is so much better.
I got that book by Nicole Apelian. Lost book of herbal remedies. That's how I got started. Best book ever. And she just came out with a new one . Apothecary 250 remedies. Step by step on how to make everything.
It always amazes me that doctors don't have patients with high blood pressure start with a diet change rather than heading to the prescription pad first. At the onset of menopause, I had some dramatic changes in my BP start occurring after a solid history of 120/80. During this time, I had to visit several doctors including a cardiologist. They all felt the need to prescribe me BP medicine. Not one single one of them, even the cardiologist, brought up the "danger" of eating or drinking grapefruit with these drugs. I say danger because ingesting grapefruit does significantly reduce your BP and if combined with BP pills may reduce it too low. Interestingly, my mother who suffered from low BP was advised to avoid grapefruit which is where I first came across this information. My curiosity caused me to take a deep dive on this subject and it is actually very well documented and studied.

Garlic is great for blood pressure.
Garlic is an excellent therapeutic. But grapefruit is quicker acting and far more substantial when it comes to blood pressure.
