Insurance is a fraud?

I have "catastrophic coverage" with 10000 deductible. I want to see a dermatologist, the doctor said "we are probably an out of network provider and will cost your oop max. I called another dermatologist office.. There's only so many... And they required a 5k deposit to just make an appt. Anyone else dealing with that? Ironically... I have UHC.
