Yes, the crooked mainstream media demonized Senator McCarthy for decades. Has there ever been an American politician more hated than he (prior to our favourite president?)
I am fortunate that I grew up hearing that "Joe McCarthy was a hero."
This experience probably laid much of the groundwork for becoming an independent thinker. Without this influence, I may have succumbed to the propaganda we have all been drenched in for decades as they boiled the frog.
I remember driving by the Kenedy house in Florida with my grandparents and my grandmother telling me what criminals they were. I don't remember them talking about Joe, but they were not fans of FDR.
