They use it in reference to Peter who wanted to be crucified upside down because he didn't think he was worthy enough to die rightside up like Christ did. If there's a double meaning it wouldn't surprise me though.
Ah well... that makes sense, although the inverted cross is also a Satanic symbol. OK, I guess I'll let that one slide.
Tbh idk where they even got that from. It's no where in the Bible. And yes isn't that ironic...👿
The church believes there are two sources of revelation; inspired scripture and church tradition. So if enough people over time in church hierarchy believed something it's considered to be on par with Bible
