BTW, I think Gaetz is brilliant, at least as a politician (almost a statesman, perhaps). I don't know much about his lawyering skills. But just his appointment as Special Prosecutor would send chills of terror through the establishment.
But as for Powell, I think she is WAY overrated, due to reading some of the briefs she wrote, which were nothing to brag about. It's just that the other attorneys she went up against are even worse.
There is a judge who was so disgusted with the terrible writing of most attorneys in her courtroom, that she wrote a series of books for attorneys on how to write legal documents for court cases.
Most attorneys are way overrated. And as a federal prosecutor, Sydney Powell had a massive advantage to build a win rate.
Gerry Spence, considered one of the most brilliant attorneys in American history (only lost 1 case -- most of that on the opposite side of the government and big corporations), said that over 60 years of trying cases in courts across America, he NEVER ONCE had a case where the government did not violate the law or misuse its power.
I think Bondi should make Gaetz and Powell Special Prosecutors. That is a DREAM TEAM!
THAT would be juicy!
