The audio was so low, it was difficult to discern what their controversy was. It seemed that Rep. Clifford was interested only in petitions from those who were in his district, but the petitions were a bulk delivery of copies to every member of the Legislature and correlation to district was impossible.
If that's the problem, then I think he has a point as a designated Representative. If he cannot discern the mood of his district, how is he supposed to respond? And to whom?
There is a lesson in this: that when you communicate with your legislators, it should be as an individual to them specifically. Otherwise, it turns into spam. I can't count the number of envelopes I get monthly from the GOP in its various divisions and organizations, seeking funds. It is too much, even though some worthy donations might be justified. I just throw them all in the trash.

I no longer responded. I used to. I check and make sure those people do good work before donating now.
I donated to Trump and James O' Keefe. Other than Christian channel or pastors.
