I would say that your statement about "around the great lakes" is very broad. If you are going to consider the border of NB around the great lakes, I would like to fire your grade 8 geography teacher.
In fairness, I did not include NB in the "darkened area".
However, I was the only person in my year at school who did not take Geography to O-level! The subjects I enjoyed the most were the ones with the best teachers. I never managed to overcome that.
