The war the rothchilds caused in 1812 when we refused to re instate their bank charter. Britain attacked and we fought until 1816 when by coincidence we re signed the bank charter. During the war, we thought the loyalist who went to Canada during the revolution would welcome liberation from great Britain. They didn't and we got our asses kicked when the general we sent shit his pants and surrendered without much of a fight. A good moment for Canada. Once the war stopped in 1816 the British fleet stayed in new york harbor for 4 more years and we couldn't do shit about it. The false narrative says we won the war. We didn't. But that was the beginning of the patriotic lie we've endured since.
You have no clue how bad it is here. This is what happens when you have state run media for decades. The media is SO bad here, I have heard so called conservatives talk about how they know world and US politics because they watch CNN. Yeah, it's bad.
Oh yes I do. I'm an American, but back in the Seventies, I was a professional photographer, and I lived and worked in Toronto for eleven years. Canadian "politics" is like a sedate game of croquet, in which the owners of the mallets and the grass control the outcome. And no one is allowed to get excited each time they rewrite the rules.
Meanwhile, they sneer down their superior noses at the crude, ignorant, gun-toting, uncivilized 'Murricans who can't stop raising hell for no reason at all.
From what I read here, it's only gotten worse since I left.
