I've fallen a couple of times this year. Once from slipping on ice, once from tripping at a gas station. Fell both times and landed on my left eyeball. It would have been worse but The middle finger of my left hand broke the falls. Happens all the time.

Actually "my ass" is what happens most of the time. My worst fall was when my Achilles tendon snapped and I recoiled and fell backward - on my ass. Broke my tailbone bad but didn't realize that at the time since my Achilles hurt really bad.
