If you're on welfare or any other assistance, there should be guidelines and rules as to what you can buy where.
No different than when you lived with your parents, they support you so you have to live by their rules.
Don't want to live by their rules, then support yourself.
If you have legitimate health issues then you go on SSDI.
SSDI is not welfare.
But, there should be organizations out there to assist people with disabilities.
And if taxes weren't so insane, there would be many more of these types of organizations.
Studies have proven over and over that as taxes increase, people's charitable contributions decline.
