My snail leaves “eggs” to be fertilized in a sense. They are like rocks on the glass. But today he left us a sign!

What do you keep for fish, friend? I'm a long time fish person :). I even got to work for an Importer / Distributor in Calgary for a few years. I've got 4 tanks running ; one just has some corys as I don't know what I want for the tank lol.
I used to get feeder fish, or as I called them rescues, lol. Currently I just have three Goldfish (comet and common) that are almost 8 years old now, in a 90 gallon tank. They share it with that zebra nerite snail, and a clown pleco. I not really a fish guy, I was more into growing tank plants. Using dirt and rock as a substrate, and really just needed a few fish to help “feed” the plants with their waste. Used to have 4 tanks running different plants and lighting, with different fish. But over these past 10 years I’ve narrowed everything down to this one tank and just the remaining plants the goldfish won’t eat, lol. I’ve got some ideas for when these fish pass away. I used to have 7 in this tank. It was a bit much. But I really want to get back to my fiddler crab days. So I’m getting ideas! 😁
In my 60 in the living room I have fancy tail goldfish - always love them, so peaceful - with a pile of zebra danios. My one bedroom tank has Bolivian Red and German Blue rams and my back room tank has Sunset Gouramis.
I was never a plant guy, couldn't get the fish to stop destroying them, but a newer local shop here has all kinds of good plants instead of the usual half destroyed crap you see in most pet stores.
A good plant that even goldfish won’t eat is a Anubias plant. Very hardy. Near any condition, outside of salt. Low light to high light. Cold or warm water as well. It’s a tough leaf. Doesn’t need soil to grow either. Of course it does better but they do just fine without. If you ever try a plant for one of your tanks it’s a good choice. It easily splits up after new growth to spread around. It’s slow growing but hard to kill.
