Never been to NJ. We have a lot of them out west.
Doesn't Need Jersey have the most population density the U.S. seems strange to have a live fire exercise - at night to . I think you would see alot of video clips posted about people freaking out.and if they could just hear the noise from it. They would be scared. .
I used to live near a live fire and artillery impact zone.
You get used to it. If they have one. But now that I think more about it,they probably don't do that back east.
It just seems odd to have live fire military exercises over highly populated residential areas. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
Former PRNJ resident... You'd be surprised at how much open space there is in the state, especially the further away from EWR and the metro areas around NYC and Philly. The Pine Barrens stretch from almost the middle of the state in Ocean County all the way down to just off the Delaware Bay into Cumberland and Cape May Counties.

The area where Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst is on the northern edge, It's location can be seen here in this detailed map just south of Six Flags Great Adventure.

This is a very low-density area and I agree with others, the video is a nothing burger.
