I only use Stevia. It is plant based and not chemically formed.
I use local honey.
I do too but only for allergies.
Honey is so good.
Yes it is. The man down the road who has the bee hives charges $10 a pint. It is most likely going to cost me more soon. But that is still a good price for the benefits.
Yes. Local honey is excellent.
That's a good price. It's $13/pt in my neck of the woods.
He too is going up after the New Year. We will see.
Hey fren, I don't know your time-in-life, but I'd recommend against Stevia if you're trying to have children.
It's been known to reduce fertility in rats since 1968: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17744732/
In fact, native South Americans have used it: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF02866880
Thanks but I now have 12 grandchildren. The reason I started using Stevia is because Pat Robertson from the 700 Club said he and his wife used it. He is gone now but I have read up on it for using to help lose weight.
Stevia and Monk fruit are my two goto natural sweeteners.
Amen.
Yes, our nutritionally-based doctor told us to stick to Stevia if we use artificial sweeteners. You can literally grow it - it's a plant. This same doctor warned us NOT to take the Covid shots half a year before they really started pushing them. He said they contain the same ingredients that created Mad Cow Disease, and that we were going to see people starting to drop dead in 18 months or so. Just as it turned out...
You have a very Great Doctor.
It's also a contraceptive, so be sure you want that effect.
I'm 64 years old. I'm done playing now. KEK!
If a doctor tells you to take it, you probably shouldn’t. After the International Virus Scam of 2020 doctors are as trustworthy and corrupt as the subhuman trash we allegedly elect.
I try to limit all sugars and sweeteners. The only sugar I get is from alcohol and perhaps I’m going to cut that out on the new year.
I use honey sparingly.
Why live?

I use local Raw Honey or Pure Canadian Maple Syrup.
Oh I bet that maple syrup is awesome.
My wife uses it in place of sugar in pies and cakes. It tastes really good.
I bet it does.
No sweetener in my coffee or tea - if I'm baking, I use sugar. If baking gingerbread, I use raw sugar from the local mill. We only bake goodies around the holidays.
I discovered several years ago that it gives me headaches, when I used to drink diet coke. Now I use stevia and/or cane sugar (non GMO, plain old "sugar" may use GMO sugar beets). Also occasionally maple syrup or honey.
I thought aspartame turns into formaldehyde when heated. Anyway I stay away from all artificial sweeteners except sweet and low ( dextrose and saccharin). Been using for 50+ years I am 77. Only 2 packets a day in my two cups of coffee per day.
