Yes, our nutritionally-based doctor told us to stick to Stevia if we use artificial sweeteners. You can literally grow it - it's a plant. This same doctor warned us NOT to take the Covid shots half a year before they really started pushing them. He said they contain the same ingredients that created Mad Cow Disease, and that we were going to see people starting to drop dead in 18 months or so. Just as it turned out...
If a doctor tells you to take it, you probably shouldn’t. After the International Virus Scam of 2020 doctors are as trustworthy and corrupt as the subhuman trash we allegedly elect.
No sweetener in my coffee or tea - if I'm baking, I use sugar. If baking gingerbread, I use raw sugar from the local mill. We only bake goodies around the holidays.
Same here. I don't use sugar or sweetener with coffee or tea. Bake with honey or maple syrup only once a while. Holidays, all the rules flew out the windows.
I discovered several years ago that it gives me headaches, when I used to drink diet coke. Now I use stevia and/or cane sugar (non GMO, plain old "sugar" may use GMO sugar beets). Also occasionally maple syrup or honey.
I thought aspartame turns into formaldehyde when heated. Anyway I stay away from all artificial sweeteners except sweet and low ( dextrose and saccharin). Been using for 50+ years I am 77. Only 2 packets a day in my two cups of coffee per day.
I use local honey.
Honey is so good.
Yes. Local honey is excellent.
That's a good price. It's $13/pt in my neck of the woods.
Hey fren, I don't know your time-in-life, but I'd recommend against Stevia if you're trying to have children.
It's been known to reduce fertility in rats since 1968: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17744732/
In fact, native South Americans have used it: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF02866880
Stevia and Monk fruit are my two goto natural sweeteners.

Thanks. We do, and we appreciate him!
It's also a contraceptive, so be sure you want that effect.

LOL. Exactly
I try to limit all sugars and sweeteners. The only sugar I get is from alcohol and perhaps I’m going to cut that out on the new year.
I use honey sparingly.
Why live?
I use local Raw Honey or Pure Canadian Maple Syrup.
Oh I bet that maple syrup is awesome.
My wife uses it in place of sugar in pies and cakes. It tastes really good.
I bet it does.
You are very smart.
Well, I been called a lot of things but that ain't one of them. My wife is very smart! Keke
Now you are smart.

Yes, use honey or maple syrup. It's better for you if you need that.

I use honey and maple syrup only. Occasionally and that's rare, I might use the white sugar or brown sugar. I stay away from artificial craps.
I hadn’t thought of maple syrup think I’ll try it. 😃
Yes, please do.
I did and it does the trick! Can’t hardly tell the difference from the pink stuff. Thanks …
You are welcome.
