Going back 129 years from 2025 (which we're not at quite yet, but whatever) puts us at 1896.

That year, William McKinley won the election 271-176. Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska and Hawaii weren't states yet.

McKinley implemented tariffs, fought for the gold standard, and brought America roaring out of a depression.

That's why they killed him.
