You know that hundreds of thousand of people will not get paid if the fed shuts down? Right after Christmas? This is bullshit that they make the CR end right before Christmas but it is also bullshit that is federal workers have to worry about this. Not all of us are pork and it’s bullshit to play games like this in both sides. This shit needs to stop. We almost had to take loans out for the last one.
Oh, and BTW, we are essential employees so we work whether we get paid or not
Essential roles within the government still get paid when the government shuts down. They just keep paying money they haven't yet printed. When the government has a budget again, they calculate that in. Don't act like you don't get paid, fed boi.
