That can't happen. Defibrillators monitor the heart rhythm looking for arrhythmias such as r Ventricular Fibrillation (Vfib) or Ventricular Tachycardia (Vtac). If neither is present, the device will not charge to deliver a shock.
Also, if a person is Asystolic (flat line), then a shock will not be delivered either, since it wouldn't help at all (regardless of what hollyweird shows in the movies or on TV)
