I hear Aslan's roar & He is saying, "Will we be able to stand firm in the 'Golden Age' ahead or be blinded by the blessings?"
The kingdom of God is the treasure for which we sell “The Golden Age” of this world (Matthew 13:44). Expectations of a golden age can already establish a stumbling block. The kingdom of God in its current “already but not yet” state is more valuable.
Not just a question of standing firm, but building a set of systems to prevent the dark from infiltrating in the ways it has before... Participation in civic duty as cultural, a way of life and standard expectation for everyone, local community sustainability with locally-controlled education, food sources, etc. Lots of work. While the big risks seem easier to take, a one time continuation with evil, it's the day to day that wears people down and allows temptation in.
