Merry Christmas to you as well. We told them since the economy is so bad and they have 5 kids to shop for not to buy us anything. But they insisted, so I gracefully told them to go ahead. After all, I taught my son that it is better to give than to receive. Of course we bought them all something as well.
It is a different way to say I love you - looking for that oh so perfect it made them smile gift. Does not need to cost a lot but the realization you have been thought of and loved enough for someone to seek out a gift that makes you smile. That is a real gift .
