I doubt he would even want to run. Trump is getting up there in age, and it is time he gets to relax for a few years.

Yes he has. Someone else has to step up and carry the plan forward.
This. Besides, there is much he can do behind the scenes, such as vetting and recruiting candidates, for instance. I think that with his personality, he will want to keep a finger in it and he can still do meaningful work without the stress of being the Pres.
