OK, I was reading Russian resources, blogs all morning. It was confirmed by Kadyrov that Chechnya wasunder drone attack, Vladicaucas ( not sure about the spelling) area.
Possibly, that the main airport and the sky in Grozny, the destination point of the crashed plane, were also closed due to the risks. There is a possibility that the plane suffered from anti drone shelling. When it was realized that a passenger aircraft was attacked it was redirect to other airfield and crashed in vicinity.
The question is - was it because Grozny airport was closed or to cover the mistake.
