I'm raising some turkeys right now and what has been surprising to me is that none of the usual predators around my place have bothered them. I have lost chickens, one cat to a weasel, had a dog attacked by a hawk,etc., but nothing has come anywhere near my turkey enclosure (on video). What you're saying makes sense.
